Direct School Admission (Junior College)

The DSA-JC exercise provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate a more diverse range of achievements and talent when seeking admission to a Junior College.

The River Valley High School Junior College programme

DSA Talent Areas

We invite Secondary 4 students who are highly motivated and demonstrate passion, grit and talent in the following areas to apply to our school under the Direct School Admission (DSA) JC Exercise.

Badminton
Basketball (Boys)
Netball
Softball (Girls)
Floorball
Volleyball (Girls)
Table Tennis
Wushu
Infocomm Technology (Computing)*

Candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in their respective talent area.

DSA-JC Application 2026 Information

Note for all applicants: Achievements at the national/international level would be an advantage. Applicants will need to provide evidence of achievement/s when submitting the application.

*Kindly note the following DSA-JC pre-requisite for Infocomm Technology (Computing): Applicants should be passionate in the IT field and be updated on the latest technology. Applicants also need to show a high level of proficiency and an e-portfolio in any of these domains:
• Cybersecurity
• Artificial intelligence
• Software/Game development
• Robotics

Successful applicants will join RVHS in 2027. Students will be assessed on both their demonstrated and potential ability to ensure that they benefit from the rigorous curriculum offered at RVHS.

Important Information (2026)*:
Application for RVHS DSA-JC application period starts from 6 May 2026 and will end on 29 June 2026 via the following link https://go.gov.sg/2026rvhsdsajc

RVHS will conduct our DSA-JC selection tests and interviews from 29 June to 11 August 2026. All applicants will receive notification from the school by Friday 3 July 2026 if they are shortlisted for Direct School Admission (DSA) selection. All shortlisted applicants who have participated in the selection will be informed of the outcome between 28 July 2026 and 11 August 2026.
